If you’re feeling the pinch at the grocery store, you're not alone.
The pandemic may be winding down, but the economic hits just keep on coming. Instead of focusing on what's really hurting us, some in Congress seem to be stuck in an endless cycle of partisan mudslinging.
Remember when we thought prices would drop post-pandemic?
Well, they didn't.
Take Cal-Maine Foods, which was accused of price gouging our eggs during the pandemic. They jacked up egg prices and exploited the crisis to make huge profits while we struggled to get by.
This is just one example of the many companies that took advantage of the pandemic economy, and some are still doing so today.
You don’t need me to tell you that prices for household goods have stayed sky-high. Every day, I hear from families across our district that our economy is not working for Texans.
It's time to say enough is enough. We need leaders who actually care about our wallets, not political sideshows.
Imagine if, instead of wasting time on hearings to find dirt on Hunter Biden and weaponizing the government, Republicans used that time and money to talk to corporate leaders in food production?
It's time to stop the political games and focus on real solutions. With a strong Democratic majority in the House and Senate, we could hold companies accountable and bring prices down for hardworking Texans.
I'm committed to being that kind of leader. With my background in the military and tech, I know how to tackle tough issues in a smart and efficient way.
I’m focused on ensuring our economic recovery benefits everyone, not just the big corporations.
We can’t let partisan bickering derail the work Congress must do for real solutions to the problems that face the hard-working families of our district.
By contributing today, you’ll join a campaign committed to lowering everyday prices and restoring effective leadership in Congress.
