Looking for more real Independent Thinkers.

Over the last two years, I’ve spoken with a lot of people about politics and what they expect or want from our government and the people who run it. One thing that I sometimes hear, “I’m not locked with a political party. I’m more of an independent thinker.” I think they expect me to be turned away by that statement as if I am only looking for brainwashed, vote-as-you-are-told folks who hopefully align with me. Nothing could be further from the truth.
What I hear is that they are alert and listening, eyes wide to the real world and not just the wide array of misinformation spoon fed to party faithful. I hear that there’s a chance. If they will consider me, my history, experience, policy and intentions vs. those of my opponent, I hear there is a good chance.
The question then becomes two-fold. First, are you really an independent thinker? Really? Second, are there enough independent thinkers, like you, who will really do the work, make the right choices and go to the trouble to vote during the elections? Too many are happy to be like sheep, listening to those who mislead and stacking their votes against those who have truly thought it through. Plus, too many just skip it altogether, yielding the outcome rather than improving the future.
Needed More Independent Thinkers.
